An experienced business executive and networking expert, Juliette Mayers delivers measurable results for organizations, communities and individuals.
Mayers is President and CEO of Inspiration Zone LLC (IZL), a firm specializing in multicultural consulting, brand management and thought leadership. Her breadth of experience spans three key industries: Financial Services, Communications and Healthcare. As principal of IZL, she provides innovative business solutions for executives, individuals and corporations including her former employer, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (BCBSMA). Prior to launching IZL, Mayers was a marketing executive at BCBSMA where she led multicultural marketing and spearheaded the company’s strategy and employer programs to address racial and ethnic disparities in health care. Mayers also created and led the award-winning Multicultural Ambassadors program.
Over her stellar career, her body of work has received national acclaim. Recent awards include The Boston Business Journal’s leadership award for Multicultural Marketing, the Hispanic-American Chambers’ Small Business Champion award, Diversity Journal’s Women Worth Watching recognition http://www.womenworthwatching.com/juliette-mayers/ and The Girl Scouts of Eastern MA Leading Women’s Award.
A passionate community advocate, Mayers serves as a corporator for Eastern Bank, a director on the state-wide Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board(MWIB), and is a member of the Simmons Graduate School of Management’s (SOM) Business Advisory Council. She is emeritus Board President of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), a $150 million anti-poverty organization and the largest community action agency in the country.
Juliette is the author of A Black Woman’s Guide to Networking, Advance Your Career. Grow Your Business! which was featured in a variety of media outlets including WCVB-TV, CBS, The Boston Globe, Harlem World and Exhale Magazine. She is a sought-after speaker on a variety of leadership and networking topics.
Mayers is an alumna of Simmons Graduate School of Management where she earned her MBA and Northeastern University where she received her BS in Marketing.
