Juliette Mayers

Juliette Mayers is Executive Director, Multicultural Marketing at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. She is an author, award-winning executive, business strategist, and a passionate community advocate. Juliette is emeritus Board President of Action for Boston Community Development (ABCD), a $150 million anti-poverty organization and the largest community action agency in the country.  Massachusetts Governor, Deval Patrick appointed her to the Massachusetts Workforce Investment Board, a statewide policy making board that advises the governor on workforce investment.

A networking guru, Mayers is the author of A Black Woman’s Guide to Networking, Advance Your Career. Grow Your Business!  which was featured in a variety of media outlets including WCVB-TV, CBS, The Boston Globe, Harlem World and Exhale Magazine.  She is a sought-after speaker on a variety of leadership and networking topics. Recent speaking engagements included The Irish International Immigrant Center, Conexion, Young Men Success Series and the New England Chinese Information and Networking Association.

Mayers was recently honored by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts as a 2012 Leading Women’s honoree.  She is an alumna of Simmons Graduate School of Management where she earned her MBA and Northeastern University where she graduated with a BS in Marketing.  A native of Barbados West Indies, Juliette is married to attorney Darryl Mayers.  She resides in the greater Boston area with her husband and two teen daughters.
